The Dream Call - Skype Remix
by DesertDwellerNo, you didn't read that wrong. I remixed the Skype ringtone. It's just such a short, catchy ringtone that I had to redo it with my own instruments. :)
Through this piece, I learned better how to use one drum loop to play everything I could want rhythm-wise, and to manipulate and better balance sounds in general, particularly with using filters.

Brief Description: This is something I threw together in less than 3 hours combined. Approximated the tempo, found a drum loop, and went from there. I intro with a similar-sounding tone playing the main theme, then do a bunch of random things to it. Three of the instrument samples were drawn by hand. (all but the strings and drum loop) The very end is indeed recorded by yours truly.
